About Miss BG

Bravo Gudule (Original) (English: Miss BG) is a French 3-D animated series based on the Gudule et les bébés French children's book series published by Hachette-Jeunesse, authored by Fanny Joly and illustrated by Roser Capdevila. Paulo (Billy)

It is a joint Canadian/French production and is distributed by Breakthrough Animation.^[1] One hundred episodes have been produced to date.

Synopsis[]

In the main title card of the series, she stands between the "B" and "G", obviously spelling "BIG". If anybody calls her "Miss Big", she tells them. "There's no "I" in Miss BG"

Miss BG (Gudule) is 7 years old according to Telefilm Canada, however Breakthrough Animation gives her age as 8.

Characters[]

Her brother George who has a very active personality, dotes on his pet hamster, Albert, his favorite TV show is called Fishy the Fish. Miss BG finds other means of teaching George about the ways of the world. Miss BG also likes to hang out in a tree house with her two best friends, Gad and Alex.

Other characters are:

(1.) Brittany-Ann (Marie-Aglaé) - a wealthy rival of BG.
(2.) Kayla (Carla) - Brittany-Ann's best friend and Billy's sister and is also Titus' owner.
(3.) Billy (Paulo) - a boastful, Athletic Boy who is Brittany-Ann's crush and Kayla's brother.
(4.) Terri (Florence) - the Babysitter of BG and George and also Robbie's love interest.
(5.) Aunt Alice (Tante Alice) - BG's favourie aunt who is also their mom's sister.
(6.) Gad (Cheb) - BG's friend who is a sciene whizz.
(7.) Alex (Bertrand) - BG's second best friend who likes to play soccer with Gad and BG.
(8.) Ahmed Mansour (M. Mansour) - Gad's father and Ouma's son who owns the neighbourhood market.
(9.) Robbie (Thomas) - Alex's older teenage brother who is also Terri's love interest.
(10.) Ouma (Djeda) - Gad's grandmother and Mr. Mansour's mother.
(11.) George (Gaston) - BG's little brother who dotes on his pet hamster, Albert.
(12.) Mom (Maman) - BG and George's mother who is a journalist and a reporter.
(13.) Dad (Papa) - BG and George's father and Mom's husband who works at the vet.
